🚌 About Our Trips

What destinations do you offer?
We currently offer trips to New York City, Washington DC, Salem, Ocean City, Nashville, Pigeon Forge, Niagara Falls, and many more! New destinations and trips are added regularly.

What is a red-eye trip?
Red-eye trips are overnight trips where we travel through the night, allowing you to sleep on the bus and arrive at your destination in the morning. You’ll enjoy the day at your destination before boarding the bus that evening to travel home. No hotel is needed!

What is a Day Trip?
Day Trips are same-day adventures where we travel by charter bus to a destination, enjoy the day, and return home that evening. These are usually trips to closer destinations, and no hotel is needed.

What is a Weekend Getaway?
Weekend Getaways are overnight trips where you’ll travel by charter bus, stay at a hotel, and have time to explore and enjoy your destination before returning home.

🧳 What Can I Bring on the Bus?

You may bring a small suitcase to be stored underneath the bus for clothing and other belongings.

You may also bring a small carry-on bag and small cooler onto the bus. A pillow and blanket are also welcome for your comfort.

Please keep anything you may need during the ride in your carry-on bag.

MoonLit Tours is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings.

🎟️ Reservations, Deposits & Payments

Is a deposit required to book a trip?
Yes. Reservations require either a deposit or full payment to hold your seat. Your reservation is not secured until payment is received.

When is my remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is generally due 30–45 days before the scheduled trip date, unless a different deadline is stated for your specific trip.

Can I make payments?
Yes! You may make multiple payments or pay your remaining balance in full at any time, as long as your balance is paid by the required final payment deadline.

What happens if my balance is late?
If your balance is not paid by the required deadline, your reservation may be canceled and payments may be converted to a travel credit in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. If you believe you may have trouble meeting your deadline, please contact us as soon as possible.

How will I know when my balance is due?
Payment reminders may be sent using the contact information provided at booking. However, it is ultimately the passenger's responsibility to know their payment deadline and make payments on time.

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards processed securely through Square, Cash App, Venmo, and Afterpay, when available. Payment options may vary by trip.

💰 Cancellations, Refunds & Credits

Are payments refundable?
Payments are generally non-refundable. Depending on the circumstances and our Terms & Conditions, you may be eligible for a future travel credit.

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. If your seat can be resold and the cancellation meets the requirements in our Terms & Conditions, a refund may be considered.

What happens if MoonLit Tours cancels a trip?
If a trip does not meet the minimum number of passengers or MoonLit Tours cancels a trip, payments will be handled according to our Go / No-Go Policy and Terms & Conditions. Depending on the circumstances, passengers may receive a credit or refund.

Can I reschedule my trip?
If a trip is canceled and another date is available, your payment may be transferred to the rescheduled trip in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

💺 Seats & Boarding

Are seats assigned?
Yes. Seats are assigned for our trips. You may request a particular seat or to sit with another passenger, but seat requests are not guaranteed.

Can I change my seat?
Seat changes may be allowed depending on the trip and availability. Please ask before moving seats.

What time should I arrive for boarding?
Your trip information will provide the specific boarding location and boarding time. Please arrive on time so we can stay on schedule.

What happens if I miss the bus?
Passengers are responsible for arriving at the designated pickup location on time. If you miss the bus, MoonLit Tours is not responsible for missed transportation or expenses resulting from your late arrival.

Are children allowed on MoonLit Tours trips?
Yes! Children are welcome on many of our trips. Age requirements may vary by destination, attraction, or trip, so please check the individual trip details before booking.

Does everyone need a seat?
Yes. Every passenger must have their own seat, including children, unless otherwise specifically stated for a particular trip.

Can passengers with mobility concerns travel with MoonLit Tours?
We welcome passengers with mobility needs whenever the trip and transportation arrangements can accommodate them. Please contact us before booking if you have accessibility needs so we can discuss the trip and available accommodations.

Please keep in mind that some destinations involve significant walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, or other physical activity.

🥤 Food & Drinks

Can I bring food and drinks on the bus?
Yes. Small snacks and a small cooler are permitted. Please help us keep the bus clean by properly disposing of trash.

Is alcohol allowed on the bus?
No. Alcohol is not permitted on MoonLit Tours trips.

📱 Trip Information & Communication

How will I receive trip information?
Important trip information, updates, reminders, pickup information, and itinerary details will be provided using the contact information you provide when booking.

Please make sure your phone number and email address are accurate and up to date.

Will the itinerary ever change?
Trip schedules and itineraries may change due to weather, traffic, attraction schedules, transportation requirements, or circumstances outside of our control. We will communicate important changes whenever possible.
